They say...
"The newest generation of eye makeup has been designed with skin-loving minerals in five expertly coordinated shades designed to accent your eyes. The pigment-rich formula doesn't cake or crease. Safe for sensitive eyes."

Verdict:
The Black Opal Mineral Mosaic eye shadow is available in 4 different shades. I got it in Golden Galaxy, it has 5 shades ranging from sheer gold to sparkly dark brown. The eye shadows are smooth to the touch and spread easily. The color pay off is sheer but they are buildable so you can pack it on for a more opaque cover. For best results apply over a cream base.

Black Opal Mineral Mosaic eye shadow comes in a flat plastic package, with a see through cover so you can see the product even when its closed and a black base. The ingredients, shade name, weight and brand info are listed on a sticker under the pack. All five shades are arranged in a mosaic pattern in a pan. The pattern looks really pretty but I'm guessing it won't look so hot if the shades spill into each other...

Black Opal Mineral Mosaic eye shadow retails for N1200 in Nigeria and $8.95 in the US for 8.78g of product. I got mine in Lagos from Kuddy Cosmetics, they are available from the Black Opal website and selected beauty supply stores. Check their store locator to find a store near you.

Considering the price, product and performance, this is a good deal. It works well and looks good. This shade in particular is great for really natural, subtle looks but you can still smoke it out with the dark brown shade (my favorite btw) for more drama. That said, I'm not too crazy about this eye shadow because I prefer my eye shadows to be really pigmented.

TTFN!

  2. i have one of the mosaic shadows (the one with teal green and blue and a black which comes out as grey on the eyes) and i hardly use it.

Maybe il use it for a client sometime since u say its buildable. i totally agree with you as per having pigmented shadows all thru.
