FOTD: Nude Meets Naked

Friday, September 02, 2011

As requested by Eva, this is a nude look (ok maybe its semi-nude:-) for an occasion using the Urban decay Naked palette.
Face:
I'm wearing StudioTech foundation in NC50 from Mac, set with Deluxe finishing powder in Dark &Neutral light from Black Opal, Sleek Face contouring kit in Dark and Sleek face and body highlighter in Gold digger as blush.

Tip: You can contour your face with foundation and powder or just powder. I advise you start with powder or bronzer, when you are comfortable with the placements and confident in your makeup application you can then move on to contouring with foundation.
For more info on highlighting and contouring check my posts on Sam Fine’s DVD and Book, Danessa Myricks DVD on Contouring and Sam's Fine’s Masterclass in London.

Eyes:
Brows filled with brow pencil in No.3 from MUFE, Black Opal foundation in Truly topaz on my brow bone set with Naked eye shadow from the Urban decay Naked palette.
On my eyelids; Urban decay eye shadow primer potion and Smog eye shadow all over my eye lid with Darkhorse eye shadow in my crease, all from the Urban decay naked palette.
I lined my upper eyelid with MaqPro eyeliner in black and my waterline with Urban decay 24/7 pencil in Zero. I’m also wearing Black Opal mascara in Classic black.

Lips:
I’m wearing Brown lip pencil from Sleek makeup, City girl lipstick fro, Fashion fair and Burberry lip gloss in Rosewood.

I hope this helps
xoxo
